Waiting for Dad !!

My mum said my dad should be home on time tonight so I took my place in the window and watched for him coming home!! I was excited to see that he had come home earlier than usual but then he said the dreaded words "Won't be long Sam !!" as he left soon after so its me and my mum home alone tonight watching TV and keeping warm!!
