Weird

Not a great shot as it was taken in a rush.

Thanks to the countless sets of roadworks in Blackpool at the moment I've had to make quite a hefty detour to avoid big queues on my way home. Why does it seem better to drive twice as far to keep moving rather than take a shorter route but creep along at snail's pace?

Yesterday I managed to make a bad decision and took an even bigger detour than intended. But today I got it right and saw this windmill. I've never seen one like this before. Have I been blinkered??
