Can you see what it is yet?
The start of the 'Emsheer' (One month of strong winds) today, has brought, a strange light, a strong wind and a dramatic drop in temperature. The air was filled with sand and dust blown from the Western Desert. People wrapped up and covered their faces as they tried to breathe clean air and escape the harsh wind.
The sun still shines, but is very subdued. Colours become muted and the sun is a blur, as it tries to warm the sacred soil it touches.
The Nile seemed angry. Sailors touting for sunset felucca sailing, fell on deaf ears, as the waves lapped the shores and boats collided with each other.
Life carries on; people are protesting, most go to work, for some life just ticks over.......
