Up and down, up and down, up and down?

This was snapped at a fair distance standing in the public park in Dunfermline using a Takumar 1:4/200 with an added Helios Tele Convertor x2, basically that means you can see pretty far away. For an idea of what I mean here is shot from 2010 standing in pretty much the same place using my Canon PowerShot.

If you didn't know, its the Forth Bridge and like many children growing up in the area I used to believe that the track went up and down the bridge and your train journey was very much like a theme park ride at the bridge. Part of me wishes it was true.
