Il Redentore! (Almost)

I made a mistake.
We arrived for this incredible firework display in plenty of time.
But I thought the display would be visible all the way along the Giudecca canal.
Wrong!
When it started, we could only catch glimpses of the highest mortars above these roofs.
It was so busy by that time, it would have been difficult to find a place see them properly.
It was still a great evening with a wonderful atmosphere.
