St Peters Church, Invergowrie

Went for a something a bit different today. Walk past this old derelict church on the way to work and just been looking up it details online.

The site is associated with the Celtic church, and is one of the churches believed to have been founded by St Boniface in Angus about the beginning of the 7th century. Nothing remains of this early structure but the existing building is from the second half of the 16th century.
