Bright lights
These beauties started off as a load of tiny, raggedy seedlings about six months ago. They refused to germinate and grow properly under cover (along with a couple of etiolated courgette seedlings) so I dug them a shallow grave and wished them a pleasant decomposition.
But no!
The courgette plant gave me enough to make about twenty large jars of chutney and this Swiss Chard (one for you shutterart!) will be eaten within days with some buerre niosette and ..... I'll see what else has survived agin' the odds.
I LOVE growing food.
