Goalball

Sorry about the quality, I had to take this with my phone then crop it.
Cameron was picked to take part in a Paralympic Festival today after school. It was at the local secondary school and about 6 schools were taking part. They were doing a tournament of 3 Paralympic sports. Well that's what they said, 1 was a form of curling which isn't in the Paralympics but probably is in the winter ones.
The other 2 sports were Boccia which is like lawn bowls and the Goalball which is for blind people. They sit/lie on the floor and push the noisy ball round trying to score goals. This is Cameron saving a goal from the other team.

The kids were all brilliant and had lots of fun.

Andrew's pre-school was closed today as the heating was broken so he got dragged round with me to do boring jobs and I couldn't go for my usual run. So I'm off out now.
