Many unions of the éducation nationale were on strike today, very rightly protesting the cancellation of 14,000 teaching positions in the fall. They were marching up boul. Henri IV in front of the bibliotheque de l'Arsenal when I left the library.

Both Th and Ch's teachers were working today. The unions I saw were mostly from outside of Paris.

I got a good day's work done and came home to a lot of giggling as Th's friends came here after school - they are really nice girls.
