It is indeed a humming bird on a bullrush.

It is beautiful and sits on top of my telly. It's from Nairobi and was a present to me from Susan when she was there on holiday some years ago.

I was relatively successful in my mission and have managed to get more Learning Support allocation, more auxiliary time and a straight referral to Speech and Language service - not bad for a 20 minute presentation....but it was like Dragon's Den!!
