The Allenbury's

About thirty years ago my father gave me a large box full of bits and pieces from my grandfather's shed, paint brushes, chisels, screwdrivers and so forth. Today I was looking for something in the box when I found this small and slightly rusty tin manufactured by Allen & Hanbury's Ltd. in the 1920s that used to contain Glycerine & Blackcurrant Pastilles known as the "Allenbury's". Price on the base is 1'6d. Empty, but for a few drill bits.
