Beachcombing

On holiday at the moment in Normandy. Strangely enough its the kind of holiday were we're not doing much - we've taken a big stack of books to read.

Did manage to get out today though to the D-day beaches and happened across some of the remains of the "Mulberry" artificial harbour at Arromanche. It well over 60 years since these great big chunks of concrete were towed into place but there is still plenty of evidence of it all around.
