Tonight's lineup

Last day of "holiday" and getting into my culinary kick again. Nice to spend a day of vacation devoted to the noble and tranquil pursuit of fooooooooood! Simmered a chicken broth with fresh veggies and chicken legs plus herbs for 2 hours til the meat melted off the bone. Set the meat aside and chilled the stock. Put some tarragon, lemon juice and cranberries/mayonnaise into a chicken salad. Used stock for a bak choy (Chinese cabbage) and sesame/ ginger/ garlic and red pepper/ soy-sauce soup. Something for the meat lovers and veggie friends alike. Oh the joys of a simple day.
