Signalling change

Downham Market station, on the line to Kings Lynn in Norfolk has some wonderful old features. There is a station pub serving hand poured real ales and this lovely old signal box which is such a contrast under the modern electric catenary. I wonder how long this is going to last before the road crossing is made automatic? These old railway installations are disappearing fast-I know they are relics of a bygone age, but it is sometimes good to look back and remember...
