A "Quaint" B&B
There is nothing subtle about Vegas. Not the food, the booze, the attire, the gambling, nothing. Especially not the buildings.
Meet Aria, the most expensive hotel ever built in Sin City. Offering only 4,004 rooms (that is right, they quote 4,004 and not 4,000) and with a cost of $8.5 billion US dollars, it makes a statement. It was opened smack dab in the middle of our recession but it now buzzes with activity.
For me, Vegas is a bit like house guests. The first 24 hours is great fun and grins and giggles. Then, you want your house back! I am close to that point. However, I did so well at the roulette table this evening, I will stay the night and head back to sanity in the morning.
