Red Rubicon

The Rubicon Peak of Mount Torlesse.

There was a spectacular sunrise this morning. As the sky darkened, for a couple of minutes the mountains were red. Nothing has been done to enhance the colour of this shot, either in the camera or in post processing. The only thing I did was reduce the image size. Large

There's been a rugged nor'wester today, with occasional gusts that jolt the house and make it creak. This is not unusual, but since the earthquakes started I find that I brace myself, expecting more to happen.
