2 7/8 Premium Tubing

During a visit to a pipe yard I took this photo of the completion tubing we had ordered for one of the company's gas wells in North Yorkshire. The pipe looks very ordinary but it is actually quite special and also very expensive.
The link between the photos and the title of Molecules to Electrons is perhaps becoming clearer. Over the next few months this connection should become clearer still.
