Please, please, set me free...

It wasn't until I'd uploaded this photo that I realised there seems to be a bit of a theme going on today...... things being put behind bars!

I was called for Jury Service today.... a waste of a day really, but atleast it was a day off work :-)
This is the 5th time I've been called since last July but each time there's been a change of plea about a week before and it's been cancelled.
I just really want to do my service now and then I should be able to relax for the next 5 years.
Today the case couldn't go ahead because a witness was on holiday... lucky them!
They had called 50 people in, to be able to ballot 15 for The Jury... so after taking all morning to decide that the case wouldn't go ahead, they'de managed to waste 50 peoples day.. we were given the choice of sitting in on the accused being given the decision or not.... all 50 of us went to sit in!.... 50 nosey people, dying to see what it was like in court and what the accused looked like...
We all had a bit of a laugh about it though.. it was actually a good crowd of people and the whole experience wasn't as bad as I'd expected.
Just have to wait and see if I get called again now, seeing as I wasn't of service this time.

After being couped up in court all morning I took a stroll through the local park...
I lost time watching the birds in the avairy.... by the looks of this photo someone has been trying to set them free!
