Gnarly old Tree
First day of the working week and it is not good to be greeted with the news that both the music and home economics teacher are off - so bang goes my non-class contact time for today! The sun was shining brightly so we decided to go for a walk in the school grounds before the end of the day.
This blip was taken on our journey round the grounds. It is hard to believe that the school in in the middle of Inverness! If you look very closely you might see a wooden picture of a butterfly and a bird box up a tree and a carved bear in the distance. A great place for outdoor education! I am really looking forward to spring and summer time when we can incorporate more outdoor education into our curriculum.
