Ambassador, With This Church You Are Spoiling Us!
A day at work much like any other day at work. Which isn't a bad thing, but isn't necessarily inspiring blip-wise.
So at lunchtime I nipped into St.James's RC church, and lo! it's rather splendid in there!
The church, almost a cathedral in size, was built between 1885-90, but appears much older. The nearby Wallace Collection building was apparently once the Spanish Embassy, & St.James's was built to replace the Ambassador's chapel, which had stood in Spanish Place.
