Birds in flight with landscape layers

Bleak day, but spotted a bit of sun fighting its way through the cloud as I journeyed back from Goole. Took a detour to get away from lorry traffic and took this on the road from Warter to Tibthorpe.

I was actually just trying to get the sun edging through the cloud, but also dropped on some gulls in flight and above them what looked like either a Murmuration of Starlings or a Murder of Crows. I hope it was the latter as I love what a group of crows ar called!
