I'm finding myself increasingly going to The Guardian for my news. They don't seem to sugarcoat over anything. If they see bullshit then they call it, and that's how it's supposed to be.

Like this article about how campaigns are won simply by whoever has the most money.

Policies, ethics, and morals are all irrelevant. It's who can pony up the most cash to pummel the other guy.

Perhaps then, democracy is just an illusion?
