Our weekend away

It's our anniversary on 31st Jan so we went away for the weekend to a lovely converted church on an old estate in Rousdon, Devon. As neither of us want to get married I think it's the closest either of us will get to an alter!! ;O)

Shame we couldn't have gone down earlier in the day but Andrew had to work in the morning but we set off early afternoon and had a pit stop at M&S for a whole range of non fruit/veg based goodies! Can recommend their 'more chocolate than biscuit' range of biscuits....they make a great entree at breakfast!! I blame my sister for introducing me to them in my christmas food hamper!

Was beautiful clear sky and very starry but the Bollinger was calling me so didn't stay out for long. There is supposed to be a cliff top walk and a private beach so that's the plan for Saturday - weather permitting.
