Pete in retirement

Warrington Cemetery

One of the few remaining weeping Wych elms (Ulmus glabra horizontalis). I've not been in the cemetery for a while. My cousin has died in Scotland under rather tragic circumstances and I've been looking for the family grave.
Warrington Cemetery is 33acres and has about 31000 graves, it was opened in about 1856 with the first burial taking place on the 26th March 1857.
