Bakewell Library

Like most towns Bakewell has a really great library.
There's been much talk over the last 12 months of getting rid of libraries due to government spending cuts.
This would be disastrous as they form such an important part of any community.
Our library is extremely well used by all age groups for a number of things not just book lending.
Getting rid of libraries would amount to cultural vandalism and its about time any further talk of their removal was knocked on the head right now.
It seems to me that our current government knows the price of everything but the value of nothing.
