Paradise...

Bureh beach on the south coast, about 1 hours 30mins from Freetown.

I've never in my whole life seen such an amazingly beautiful beach with perfect white sands, soft water and the lush mountains in the background. The 'Lion Mountain', where Sierra Leone gets its name is the only mountain ridge in all of West Africa that actually hugs the coastline.

Slept under in a mosquito net on the beach - and not one bite to show for it. Definitely coming back here!
