Calm Before the Storm

I knew the rain was coming and I looked out my kitchen window early this morning and saw that the clouds were spotty so I headed to the Boardwalk hoping for a repeat sunrise from the day before.

Well, it didn't happen, but the clouds and reflection I was able to get were OK. As I was waiting for it to get lighter to see what would happen, several people walked by and told me "Oh, you should have been here yesterday, it was fantastic." I just smiled, knowing exactly what they were talking about and wishing that I had been in this spot yesterday instead of the spot I was where I got scared away by the homeless person, which caused me to miss the shot I wanted there.

The weatherman was right on target today. He said we would get rain this afternoon and at 12:03, I went from my car into the house and was dodging rain drops. Kudos to the weatherman for getting it right this time.
