Chinese New Year

Today we went to Washington's Chinatown for the Chinese new year parade -- along with 40,000 other people apparently...

Not much of a parade, I must say: small, quick, and with a preponderance of politicians marching, somehow alongside the cheerleaders for the Wizard basketball team -- not quite sure of the relevance.

So a bit of a let down which we decided to wash down with a few 'black & tans' and burgers at the local irish pub :))
