Cooked Breakfast

After Gymboree, we abandoned our usual coffee and cake at M&S in favour of a cooked breakfast at a local carvery restaurant with Kerr and Kerrsmummy. We've been eyeing it up for a while as we pass it every Thursday, so decided to try it out before we stop going to the class in a couple of weeks time.

It was pretty disappointing to be honest. I didn't have high expectations due to the price of it, but it was worse than I had hoped. We probably got the tail end of the breakfast stuff though as we were pushing the time and there wasn't much choice, but we definitely wouldn't go back! Kerr and H enjoyed themselves running wild in the restaurant (luckily it was quiet) and hitting each other with balloons.

Afterwards, we visited my parents and H was pleased to see her cousin L for a couple of hours before she had to go home.

We enjoyed a dinner of Haggis, Neeps & Tatties tonight and H wolfed down the haggis in particular. A day late for Burns night, but who cares? We only really have it once a year so I don't suppose it matters which day that is.
