Puerto Montt, Chile

This is just outside of the port gates and the city for a region which was settled by Germans at the invitation of the newly independent Chilean Government in the mid 1800's. This picture captures a number of features of this very friendly country. Lots of graffiti, lots of dogs, unbelievable street wiring and new cars but not houses. Well something like that.
