Unboxed

Up until a few moments ago I was unfamiliar with term "unboxing video." It seems that this phenomenon where the process of unpacking a new gadget is captured on video and the result posted on the internet. The first unboxing video was aired on Youtube on 12 June 2006 when a Nokia E61 smartphone box was opened.

Here you can see D, who is off to America on Wednesday, unboxing his newly purchased graphics tablet. He already has two. One is too small and the other too large to transport easily. This one, it seems, is just the right size.
