Lyra Lion

Lyra has a great mane of hair and when she wears it loose I call her my little lion which she loves (what she does NOT love is me taking her picture..)

However, luscious locks can have their downside as I discovered one afternoon when visiting DadDad (my father in law) on the local cardiac ward.

"Sticky Lolly!" exclaimed Lyra whilst extracting an exceedingly sticky and very hairy lollipop from her hair. It had been entirely hidden from sight and I felt more than a little embarrassed, I felt more embarrassed still when I had to argue with her in hushed tones about why she could not proceed to eat it.

Kids eh...
