This afternoon we went to a local skate park for a birthday get together. Master Tom has reached the age of nine and had a stunt scooter for his birthday. Eager to try it out he invited his chums along to "scoot" with him. The mini pinks were lucky enough to be invited, and although Miss Pink didn't take part in the "scooting" they both had a brilliant afternoon. Master Pink had a fab time scooting around and getting braver and braver on the ramps. He didn't do any jumps on his own, but he was getting much braver and wants to go back again. It was really cold over the skate park, so although the kids weren't willing, we all headed back to my friend's for party tea and a warm up. The bigger boys went upstairs to play xbox, and the littlies stayed downstairs and played with zhuzhu hamsters and looping louie. Us grown ups got a much needed catch and a glass of wine. Marvellous.
