Rain Bearing Clouds

We headed off to Tentsmuir with a notion in our heads to catch the seals basking on the sandbanks in the sun. This seemed doable as we left as it was bright and fair. However, 45 minutes into the walk the Scottish weather prevailed and started to do that four seasons in one day thing :)

Mr Lif got the seals. Me? I faffed with the tripod and the big boy while Mr Lif froze his wotsits off and came up with a big fat zero :) I can't say it was pleasant and the wind, sleet and rain made it all a bit fraught. Still once that bit if weather had passed through the rest of the walk was very pleasant for January

Back home now and thawing out nicely :)
