Old Lamp

My father in law gave me this old ships lamp, it had been hanging in his shed in Orkney for years. It was absolutely black when I got it, a bit of brasso and a lot of elbow grease has given it a new lease of life.

It must be over 100 years old, who knows the journeys it has been on, the storms it has survived, the events it has endured.
