This photo isn't my own... lately I've been handing my camera off to elementary school students to take photos of whatever they want.

ADOPT A TREE! This morning 16 kids and 5 adults came out to the soccer field to help plant algarrobos (hearty leguminous trees native to this salty air). We also painted little signs that say "Mandy's Algarrobo" with each of the adopters names. We planted 20 trees and have 10 more that need a nice home. And we have to put up little fences to keep the chickens away.
