Messages 1st piece

So today I began work on my 1st piece for my 'Messages' exam unit. I'm exploring message of the bible - not in a bible bashing way! I want to find verses meaningful to people that don't necessarily look as if they are from the bible and could just be quotes from songs.

And this is what I will start with.

The idea behind this piece is about casting your fears away and the photo I am using is one of a Chinese lantern that we set off a few months back at MANNA where we wrote our worries on and 'let them go'. Arty!
