hellebore

I am always pleased to see the hellebores flowering, they are such soft, muted colours - and so welcome when there is little else flowering. This one gives particularly pleasure, though because I grew it from seed collected from one of my favourites. It has taken a long time to come to flowering, and I was thrilled to notice it on a brief foray into the garden on this cold, foggy day.
