The Arctic version of the Monsoon has set in this morning; definitely a day for an indoor blip.

This bonsai-ed elephant hails from India and is probably well over a hundred years old. Ivory or teak are the usual material of choice for makers of miniature elephants but this one has been carved from horn, most likely water buffalo.
