Ready for the Arctic blast!

We are off today on our weeks Arctic Highlights adventure. Hilary is going with us but refused to have her picture taken in her 'silly' hat so she has taken this for us.
(We have our thermals packed too.)
We have to pick up friend Liz then it's down to Gatwick for our flight to Tromso.

Last night we all met for dinner at our house with friend Mike who set out to do this trip over 12 days last Wednesday, only to have to fly back on Friday, so we invited him down. He was diverted to Trondheim instead of Bergen as the ship was undergoing repair and they were to pick it up further north. Two days later they were told it wasn't going to be ready and there were no other berths available on other ships! So he never made it to the Arctic - small consolation dinner with us!

I'm hoping to get some great pictures and if I can get to Wifi will post them as usual other wise I will back blip when we get back. You never know we may even see the Northern Lights!
