surf, sand and impromptu picnics.

Ages 6, 9, 11 and a dog that acts like a toddler... wowsers, it was an exhausting afternoon. But SO amazingly FUN! Tony and I took the kiddos (and Jasper) to the beach, and we all had a blast. It was so nice to see the kids relax, get outdoors and get a bit dirty for a change... you know... be KIDS. And they all had so much fun playing with the dog and taking turns holding the leash and holding Jasper on their laps on the car ride there and back. Running short on time, we skipped a fancy meal and had an impromptu picnic instead... on a small grassy hill in the McDonald's parking lot, right near the drive-thru. Not exactly a fantastic spot, but nobody seemed to care. It was absolutely fabulous.
