CCC Meet

So, there is this "contest" that was in our newspaper...Capture Clark County. Enter photos, vote, maybe get your picture in a book, buy the book....that kind of thing. So, the contest was supposed to end this week, and some of the people wanted to get together for a meet and greet kind of thing and this nice man who has his own Quiznos sandwich shop invited quite a few people to meet up tonight. So Bill and I went and it was very nice. He even furnished sandwiches and drinks, which was a nice bonus. Everyone got to say their name and their background in photography, their area of interest, etc. The lady in the back is saying her story. After that people just visited a bit and talked photography.. I promised Bill we wouldn't stay long, so we said thank you and left. But we did leave a list with our emails and maybe we can do this again sometime. It was nice to say hello to some really outstanding photographers here in Clark County.

BUT, the "contest" has now been extended until August!! Good grief. I thought I was nearly done with it. Oh well.
