A New Leaf.....

The New Year preparations have begun!

My mother will be making so much food over the next few days and this banana leaf, along with around another 100 like it will be used to wrap the Vietnamese favourite; banh Trung.

It is a savoury dish consisting of rice, yellow lentils and pork wrapped in banana leaf, and then steamed.

Without this it would not feel like New Year (T?t).
