Mocking Bird
Nice evening
The girls were playing nicely so I got my paints out, poured a glass of wine, put on some choice music and had a play.
First go at painting on book pages. And sacriligious as it *is* for a Librarian to use the Harper Lee classic...I wanted it to be authentic. It was a really relaxing couple of hours...and the evening was completed by a lovely chat. x.
"If you can learn a simple trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view ... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
Atticus Finch (never lies)
I wish I could say that the design was mine but I'm not that clever - it was the bill poster for the play when it was performed by Wichita Community Theatre. So credit to them.
