Fresh Air

A whole day off and one that was spent in the lovely fresh air.

We went for a walk around The Lickey Hills-it was a little chilly but otherwise bright and refreshing.

We also came across this wood carving-
Spirit of the Woods - on lawns below the visitor centre, a wooden sculpture from an old sweet chestnut log which had lain in the woods for many years. Represents an hermaphrodite (something that is both male and female) and gives the appearance of growing out of the ground. Sculptor is Graham Jones

Just home now from baby sitting our Grandson
Could do with more days like this-please.
