To The Point

I have been meaning to do this macro shot of a pencil for ages and after seeing Michele's effort the other day I had decided that today was the day.

I put on the macro lens/filter/adapter and took this pic and several other that weren't as good. The pencil was sharpened then put on a upturned place mat so the cork side showed.
