Onesock

This is Jack (Onesock), my son, he is 8 years old, 9 years on August 31st. Last year Gail & I bought him a pretty decent camera so that he could start blipping, which he did, and he loved doing. Admittedly, he hasn't kept it up 100% over the past year, but he is only 8 years old and he has other interests. He has built up some good relationships with other blippers, and he has enjoyed the "banter" with them. Yesterday, after going to the airshow and taking pictures, he decided that he wanted to put some photo's onto blip. I can't begin to descibe how distraught he was when he learnt that he (all of a sudden) wasn't old enough to be a member anymore. We try to encourage our children to have a hobby, something that gives them a goal, a sense of achievement, but then they get knocked back. I have a very sad boy in my house at the moment!
