Cat skirmish

Brilliant. Turf wars. On our shed roof. I shouldn't be this happy about cats fighting :-/

There's a new white cat in town. Let's call him George. Spotted a couple of weeks ago negotiating an unfeasibly large wall and, it has to be said, embarrassing himself a little on the dismount.

The black and white cat (henceforth to be known as Mildred) has been in residence more or less since we moved in 3 years ago when she was a teeny kitten.

So I'm alerted to 2 cats on the shed roof by no.1 son who is procrastinating and looking for anything to do that is not concentrating on homework, whilst wearing an eye patch. This shot was taken after George had already chased Mildred off our shed roof but was not content to sit and gloat, rather became offended by Mildred's presence on the neighbours' shed and decided to do something about it. I've got a couple of shots of George in flight from one shed to another and of George taking a good old swipe at poor Mildred but I liked(!) this 'stand off'.

So anyway, you must be pretty pleased it's not my kids on the swings?? Because I do have swing shots today :-) Count yourselves lucky!

But, teatime. It's another one of my recipes that doesn't have a name. Mr CleanSlate wonders what he did to deserve such a Saturday night treat.....
