You Shall Go To The Ball.

If you happened to be walking past the National Library of Scotland on George IV Bridge this afternoon, you may have seen this distinctive ladies' shoe sitting all alone atop a wall as if wanting to become part of the city's iconic statuary - or perhaps a more mundane yet modern version of the old glass slipper.

So I rather fancy that somehow, somewhere in Edinburgh last night, it seems that Cinderella may at last have found her Prince Charming...

... even if it were only for the night.
