Beauty and the Beast

Had quite a relaxed non eventful today..... perfect for a Saturday really.
Just did the usual Saturday things.... strolled round the shops and picked up bits and pieces we've been needing to get but never got round to getting... strange mix of things including a year planner for work (because I work with a team of men, who can't think past their lunch that day!lol) and a new extractor fan for the bathroom (because I have to teenagers who could steam the wall paper off the whole house with the amount of time they spend in the shower between the 2 of them!).
Most importantly I bought a new walking jacket to wear whilst doing all this blipping.... That was my excuse for needing it anyway.... truth be told I have so many coats and jackets I could start a shop..... it's my weekness!

Finnished the day of with a wee walk round Cockenzie Harbour... a beautiful but tiny harbour.
I had been wanting to get a photo of Cockenzie Power Station for a while... it's fascinated me since childhood and it has fascinated my own children through theirs.
It's due to be demolished in 2yrs time to be replaced by a gas powered station... although it's a bit of a beast, I think the sight of it will be missed...........
